Social and environmental responsibility (SER)

Vogel & Vogel is a signatory to the Diversity Charter, which promotes gender equality, equal opportunities and diversity within law firms.

A lever for cohesion and well-being in the workplace, the Diversity Charter encourages its signatories to get involved in tangible actions that are regularly assessed.

Within the firm, these actions include :

  • setting objective criteria for remuneration and career development, implementing an equal opportunities recruitment policy
  • promoting the firm’s female talent
  • recruiting international profiles
  • promoting integration through the Vogel Global Competition Network
  • welcoming French and foreign interns, with the possibility of hiring them on completion of their internship.

Taking into account the challenges of social and environmental responsibility is a key element in the firm's strategy.

This SER approach unites all our teams around social and environmental commitments, such as :

  • work-life balance
  • the drafting of a working from home charter
  • team and individual interviews several times a year
  • the creation of Vogel Academy
  • the drafting of a Vogel Eco-attitude charter
  • a policy of dematerialization
  • a policy of reducing energy costs
  • a policy of reducing waste at source
  • a selective sorting policy
  • the purchase of green and/or recyclable products.


In 2022, the firm was awarded the “Silver” label for its SER policy, placing it among the top 20% of law firms assessed by EcoVadis. The organization assessed the integration of SER principles into the firm’s activities, as well as their impact in the following areas: environment, social & human rights, ethics and responsible purchasing.
