The 6th edition of the Prix Vogel in Economic Law is now open!
Applications accepted up to 30 September, 2026
The Prix Vogel is open to authors and researchers in economic law and honors works that go beyond simply analyzing legal rules but also place them in their proper context shedding light on changes in the law and fostering innovation in legal practice.
Competition, distribution, consumer protection, regulation, the internal market, compliance, and the economic analysis of law: the scope of the prize reflects the full diversity of economic law.
This 6th edition of the Prize will be awarded for the best dissertation or the best work published between 1 January and 30 September 2026.
The jury, to be convened next December, will include representatives from the law firm Vogel & Vogel, as well as corporate general counsel.
A special prize will be awarded by students at the Ecole de droit d’Assas.
The upcoming sixth edition features several innovations that we particularly value
Selected candidates will for the first time be invited to present their work orally in the form of a presentation.
Beyond the scholarly quality of the work, we aim to highlight their ability to present their ideas, persuade an audience, and make their research accessible. The candidate who stands out most during this exercise will be awarded the Prix du meilleur orateur (best speaker award).

The Prix Livv by Vogel will also be awarded, based on a vote by legal professionals who are members of the Livv community.
The call for nominations is open until 30 September 2026.
The award ceremony will take place in December 2026.
The Vogel Prize comes with a cash award of 10,000 euros.
