A workshop led by Me Joseph Vogel and Me Cécile Assémat, experts at Vogel & Vogel, organised in partnership with AFJE.
Compliance with intercompany payment terms is receiving increased scrutiny from the DGCCRF. During the first half of 2025, it inspected 409 companies and initiated or completed 228 sanction proceedings, resulting in total fines of nearly €47 million. A bill passed by the Senate and currently under review by the National Assembly seeks to raise the maximum fine to 1% of a company’s worldwide turnover in the event of non-compliance.
It is therefore essential for companies to understand what is at stake in complying with payment term rules and to be properly prepared for an inspection.
