COMPETITION • FRENCH AND EUROPEAN LAW • RESTRICTIVE AGREEMENTS
“Hub and spoke” collusion refers to the indirect exchange of information between competitors who do not meet (spokes), through a common distributor (hub), or between competing distributors (spokes) through a common supplier (hub). For this type of collusion, which combines horizontal and vertical aspects, it is necessary to determine the point at which a legitimate communication of information between a distributor and its supplier becomes an exchange of information between competitors.
